A connected product data and quotation workflow for managing catalogue records, pricing rules and customer-ready PDF quotations.
Client implementation
The challenge
Product information, pricing and quotation preparation needed a more consistent workflow. The system also needed to keep internal commercial fields separate from the product information exposed to other services.
The solution
Developed a product management application backed by PostgreSQL, with CSV import and update handling, product-level pricing logic and an API layer. The quotation workflow uses product data to prepare browser previews and structured PDF documents with controlled pagination.
